Five Strikes OWI Billl Heading to Legislature
Support seems to be gathering among lawmakers in Madison for a proposal that would take some drivers off the street permanently. Green Bay state rep Eric Genrich says he’s collecting co-sponsors for a bill that would retire permanently the drivers licenses of those who collect their fifth OWI. A reasonable path towards safer roads, says Genrich
Unlike current Wisconsin law, Genrich’s proposal would also not allow for an occupational license after the fifth OWI.
