50 Year Hotel Lease Vote Tonight
A vote on a fifty year lease tonight for a hotel in downtown La
Crosse.
A city council committee will vote on the Fairfield Inn and Suites project. A project the design of which has created some divisions among city council members. Developers want exemptions to downtown design standards and some council members are pushing back. PLenty at stake, says downtown council rep, James Cherf
Cherf expects the hotel developers will buckle to the requests for exterior design changes but will likely retain an exemption for property setback rules.
