Winona Bar Destroyed In Overnight Fire

A bar in downtown Winona is considered a total loss after an overnight

fire. Flames were seen on the roof of the Mason Jar bar on East 3rd Street in Winona early today.  Nobody was hurt, but people living in the apartments above the bar will need to find housing.  Streets near the bar were blocked off for hours because of the fire.  This blaze comes just over a year after a bigger fire in downtown Winona damaged the Islamic Center and other buildings.
