Guy Locks Himself in Train Station, Kicks Firefighter in Face

A La Crosse firefighter maybe waking up with a sore jaw today after a run-in with a loose cannon this weekend.  Cops say 34 year-old Gregory Loftus pushed his way into the Amtrak station on Saturday night while the janitor was mopping up.  Loftus got in the janitor’s face, the janitor took off and called police.  Loftus locked himself in the train station but wrestled with police and kicked a firefighter in the face before they hauled him in.  Police say Loftus’ pupils were as big as saucers; they figured he must have been on some kind of narcotic cocktail.
