UW Squeeze Could Halt Future UW-L Construction
The governor wants to cut funding and freeze tuition through the UW system.
With that comes the freezing of bonding. Which, with many projects lined up at UW-L, isn’t sitting to well with students. Especially ones that voted for several projects. That according to President of the UW-L Student Association, Kaylee Otterbacher
Those renovation or expansion projects include Wittich Hall, the Recreational Eagle Center and the UW-L parking ramp. The $24 million Wittich project and the $8 million REC project both are set begin spring of 2016; the $7.6 million parking ramp expansion will begin next month.
