County Plays A Waiting Game With Plans

Still not ready to close the deals. Legal issues seem to be holding up the

final approval of contracts to let La Crosse County move departments to another building, and to put business and residential development on a county parking lot.

County board chair Tara Johnson hopes the various agreements involving Associated Bank, Don Weber, and the Stizo developers can be worked out by the end of February.  The board discussed the plans for two hours in closed session Monday night, but did not vote on anything after those talks.
