Johnson Gets First Hand Look At Borders

Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin spent last weekend in Texas to check

out the security situation. Then the new chairman of homeland security went back to Washington with a mission statement.

3 other pieces of that statement include securing the border……passing an information sharing bill for cyber security and protecting critical infrastructure. The trip came as Congress continues to wrestle with what to do about a looming deadline for funding the Department of Homeland Security.
