New Judge Sworn In
La Crosse County’s newest judge is in the unusual position of
starting her new job, while campaigning for it at the same time. Candice Tlustosch was sworn in as Branch 5 judge this morning. Next week, she’s a candidate in a three-way primary for that seat…so her remarks at today’s ceremony also served as a campaign statement:
Judge Tlustosch was named by Governor Walker to succeed retired Judge Dale Pasell, who has endorsed a different candidate in the spring election.
