County Could Vote On Lot C Next Week

When the La Crosse County Board meets next week, it could vote to approve

deals for developing Lot C and the administrative center. And the board definitely is expected to vote on a project manager for the Administrative Center remodeling.  Market and Johnson has been chosen from among five bidders to manage the conversion of the former courthouse into student housing.  Their bid of about 600-thousand dollars was the lowest.  Developers would like the county to vacate the building within the next couple of years, so they can keep to their schedule of removing asbestos and rebuilding the old courthouse and jail.
