Police Search for Jeep Involved in Hit and Run
An Onalaska woman has escaped serious injury after getting banged around in her car by a hit and run driver. La Crosse cops say the woman was hit near I-90 on the northside of La Crosse at about 5 on Friday afternoon. They think a car coming off of the interstate may have been the one that slammed into the victim, nearly pushing her across the median of 35-53 and into oncoming traffic. Witnesses describe a dark colored SUV as the one responsible. Police did recover part of the bumper and grille of what they say is a maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.
