Democrats Bill Would Bring In Federal Money And Save Wisconsinites

State Representative Daniel Riemer and Senator Jon Erpenbach have proposed a

plan to expand Wisconsin’s BadgerCare coverage. Riemer spoke to reporters about the plan Monday.

Both democratic lawmakers previously called for full expansion of Medicaid coverage in Wisconsin, but say they will now settle for partial expansion. They said five other states under Republican control have implemented similar plans. Governor Scott Walker has stated time and time again that he won’t accept federal monies.
