MOSES Coming As Is Free Parking

City Hall could lose out on about a thousand

dollars in La Crosse parking ramp fees this weekend, but the trade-off comes in having thousands of visitors spend money on other things. From Thursday through Sunday, the city is declaring a ‘fee holiday’ at the three ramps with ticket gates.  The free parking weekend is part of the deal that keeps the MOSES organic farming conference coming back to the La Crosse Center each winter.  This is the first MOSES meeting in La Crosse since the ticket machines in the ramps were activated last April.  The ramps have collected 13-thousand dollars in hourly parking fees since the first of the year.
