2 Year Old May Have Died From Cold

Tomah Police are investigating the death of a 2 year old girl…….who was found in the cold, outside of her home. Cops says last Tuesday, they responded to a home for a medical call. On scene, they began life saving efforts on 2 year old Raelyn Sheetz, who had been found outside the house by her mother.

Sheetz was taken to Tomah Memorial Hospital for continued treatment of an apparent hypothermic-related emergency. She was flown to Mayo Clinic Rochester, where she died on Saturday.

Tomah Police continue the investigation that started with the original medical call and are waiting for autopsy results. Police also say they are getting full cooperation by the little girls family.
