County Eyes Bank Move
Now that La Crosse County has officially bought a bank to move departments
into, a county committee is trying to decide how their offices fit into new spaces. One of the first changes being considered is coming up with a new meeting room for the county board. Architect Val Schute showed a county committee some of the floor plans for the Associated Bank building:
Schute would like to see the board consider a circular kind of seating arrangement, instead of the existing classroom-type setting with county executives at the front of the room.
