Teaching Scale Back Pulled From Handbooks
The La Crosse School District will take a closer look at scaling back classes
taught at Logan and Central High School by teachers. The item was pulled from new employee handbooks Monday night after leaders agreed more work needs to be done on the issue. Human Resources Director, Steve Salerno explains what one hang up is.
Salerno says adding more teachers means about $600 thousand additional dollars for the district to find. Salerno says they may wait until the final state budget is approved before agreeing on anything.
