Campbell Has Interim Chief

The Town of Campbell has a new top cop, for now. Retired La Crosse Captain

Mitch Brohmer will serve as police administrator on French Island, until a full-time chief is hired.  Town clerk Chad Hawkins says the job search for a chief and a police sergeant could take two or three months.  Campbell’s last police chief, Tim Kelemen, was placed on leave last June after using the internet to harass a local tea party member.  Kelemen retired from the force in November.
