Development Decisions Loom
More decisions on development coming soon from the La Crosse city
council. The council votes next week on plans for a big college housing development near UWL and a demolition permit to start a new hotel downtown, with more projects waiting in the wings. Mayor Tim Kabat says it’s exciting to watch of surge of development happen in many areas around the city
A special committee today reviews plans for two other projects as well, including a big complex planned for Barron Island, near where the old Holiday Inn stood.
