Senior Retirements On Rise
Senior citizen centers and retirement homes are keeping up with changing
interests in generations.
That’s what the head of the La Crosse County aging unit, Noreen Holmes, is seeing at facilities for seniors in other communities:
Holmes says La Crosse County centers don’t have that right now, but she expects that those changes will come soon. She also has seen studies suggesting that retiring baby-boomers prefer to stay where they have been living already, rather than relocating to warm-weather spots.
