La Crosse Well Cleaning Probs
Another well cleaning, another well cleaning gone awry in La Crosse.
Last summer, city water utility manager Mark Johnson was dealing with a well rehab downtown with massive cost overruns. This year, well 17 at Trane park can’t get back online due to failed bacteria tests. An oh-for-2 that’s nothing to brag about, says Johnson
Johnson says crews will continue to flush the southside well with the hopes of getting it back online in the next couple of weeks. It is not currently connected to the city’s water supply.
