A bill circulating again in Madison would eliminate property taxes on business equipment. A huge amount of tax base just in the city of La Crosse, says mayor Tim Kabat. Millions of dollars
The state’s Legislative Fiscaul Bureau reports that taxes would have to increase almost three percent on homeowners if services are remain the same. Meanwhile proponents of the change say it will help businesses grow jobs.
