What Will It Take For You To Use The Ramps

If you want a reserved space in a La Crosse parking ramp, you might soon have

to sign a contract for it.

 

The city’s parking utility board has adopted a new policy requiring a signature from everyone who gets a reserved stall in a downtown ramp.  Right now, only the person or company that applies for reserved spaces has to provide a signature as a responsible party.  Bob Haines from the public works department says City Hall has good reasons for wanting to know who’s using the spaces:

The board also endorses an ordinance calling for stricter enforcement of fee collection for those reserved stalls.
