Chilsen Reacts To PSC Ruling
For The Town Of Holland……the PSC ruling on the Badger Coulee high powered
transmission line project, was a losing battle. The project will connect with the CAPX 2020 power lines being built near Holland. Onalaska Mayor Joe Chilsen, who’s city will not be effected now by the project, says he feels for Holland.
The PSC is expected to issue a final order on the project within four weeks and ATC and Xcel said they will start contacting property owners on the chosen route yet this year. Construction is expected to begin in 2016 and the line is scheduled to go into service in 2018.
