Gow Not Happy With Building Ruling

After the Wisconsin’s Building Commission meeting this week, UW-La Crosse

found out that they will not be building a new fieldhouse or student residence hall anytime soon. Governor Scott Walker’s capital budget is the blame for the delay to several building projects statewide. So any good news from that meeting Chancellor Joe Gow?

And an addition to the Eagle Recreation Center will get an $8 million addition. Gow says the campus really needs a new residence hall since 1100 students live in over flow housing. Both could still get approval though by the state legislature.
