County Health Ranking Is Just Fine
La Crosse County’s rank of 19th in the latest statewide health ranking survey
to some….is a comfortable place to be. Sounds strange but it’s true says Brenda Rooney with the La Crosse Medical Health Science Consortium. Reasons why getting to number is hard to do?
But it’s how things break down is what makes the county shine. For Health Factors, La Crosse County ranked 3rd out of 72 counties in the state, the same as 2014. The health behavior’s rank improved from 6th to 4th in 2015. La Crosse County’s rank for clinical care stayed the same as 2014, 2nd. Social and economic factors rank of 7th is up from 8th in 2014.
