Not Many Pricey Tickets Handed Out

It’s hard to tell how many underage drinking parties La Crosse’s social hosting ordinance has prevented in the last year since the rule was adopted by the city council.  Police sergeant Randy Rank says you can’t count up the parties that never happened.  But cops have written 15 very pricey tickets under the ordinance

None of the tickets, says Rank, have been written for parents hosting parties for their children.  The social hosting ordinance tickets are over 16 hundred dollars apiece.
