City Council Races Open In La Crosse

There’s a half dozen La Crosse city council candidates who won’t worry at all about the outcome of Tuesday’s election.  Those are the six who are running unopposed.  Not the healthiest thing to have that many uncontested seats, agrees council president Dick Swantz.  But sometimes it’s unavoidable

Swantz is among those running unopposed on Tuesday.  As are fellow incumbents Audrey Kader and Paul Medinger.  Fellow council members Doug Happel, Fran Formanek, Peg Jerome and Rich Becker all face opposition on Tuesday.
