UW-L And Others Go After Tuition Hikes
Several UW System campuses will ask the UW Board of Regents for a tuition increase for nonresident and international undergraduate students and for several graduate programs. UW-L Chancellor Joe Gow, who will be at the meeting, says campuses are taking the lead given to them by state legislators.
Gow says UW-L will ask for around $400 a year for out of state undergraduate tuition and about the same increase for in state graduate tuition. $800 would be the increase for out of state graduates. The Board of Regents will consider the proposal today.
