Trees, Trees And More Trees…..All Comin Down

Tree lovers and city officials took to the streets of La Crosse this morning to ease concerns about the loss of ash trees in town.  Dozens of those trees on Losey Boulevard are set to be taken down tomorrow, and Mayor Tim Kabat stood on Losey to encourage the planting of new trees.  The mayor’s remarks even drew a shout-out from passers-by:

After that interruption by a driver on Losey, Kabat joked that it’s important for the public to be aware of tree preservation.
