Poage Statute In Design Phase
Elmer Petersen recognizes the importance of his latest sculpture for the city of La Crosse. Petersen is casting the life-sized statue of George Poage for the renovation of Poage park. We talked to him this week as work began on the park. He says the statue compares well with the other works of his in the city
Among others, Petersen has crafted the eagle in Riverside Park and the iconic La Crosse Players statue.
