Kind Still On Top Of VA Investigation

Changes are already being made at the Tomah VA while investigations into the over prescribing of medicines, retaliation and patient deaths continue there. The VA is working with the National Center of Organizational Development, which gives the Tomah VA assessments, organizational consultation and intervention as well as other support services.

 

Congressman Ron KInd says he’s not done with his tasks at hand either.

The facility came under scrutiny in January following reports that physicians were prescribing more painkillers than most VA hospitals, and employees who spoke out were subjected to intimidation. The hospital is the subject of multiple investigations.
