PSC Didn’t Listen To Western Wisconsin
The Wisconsin Public Service Commission’s final approval to the $580 million transmission line project, which will run from Madison to La Crosse, is a bad move and two opposing groups of that project are not done with the PSC yet, they say.
One group, Citizens Energy Task Force, says the PSC turned their backs on residents in western Wisconsin. The group’s, Deb Severson.
Organizations that have been fighting the proposal said they will file a petition for a rehearing by the PSC or challenging the validity of the PSC’s decision in circuit court. Construction is expected to begin in 2016 and the line is scheduled to go into service in 2018.
