Segway Business Gains City Council Win
A new business owner has won his latest bout with city hall. Erik Mills, owner of La Crosse Segway Tours, was pretty surprised when the city’s public works board on Monday voted to turn down a proposal to ban his Segways from downtown sidewalks out of safety concerns. But the move makes perfect sense to him, too
The full city council will still weigh in on the sidewalk Segway ban next month.
