Davids Supports A Flurry Of Bills
In a marathon floor session Tuesday, the Minnesota House passed three budget bills. The Liquor Bill passed on a vote of 127-4. The Public Safety Finance Bill passed 119-15. Finally, following a 7 hour debate that ended early this morning, the House voted 72-60 in support of the Health and Human Services Finance Bill. State Representative Greg Davids supported that bill.
Among the provisions included in the bill, which spends $11.8 billion over the upcoming biennium: $138 million for nursing home reimbursement…..a 5% pay increase for care center workers and $52 million for child protection services. All 3 are headed to the senate.
