Holmen Slims Administrator Search. One Name Remains.

Kristin Mueller is one of only two finalists the Holmen School Board invited to visit the district for their administrator position. Mueller, currently with the La Crosse School District, came from an initial pool of 32 applications. A second finalist, a superintendent for the Centerville Community School District in Iowa, turned down the offer. Mueller is a UW-L grad who also student taught in Holmen during her studies.

School Board President, Cheryl Hancock tells us board members interviewed Mueller in a closed session a few weeks ago and held another closed session meeting to discuss the administrator search last Monday.

The new district administrator is expected to start July 1st. Current district administrator, Dale Carlson will end his tenure June 30th.
