Tomah Teen Dies After Jump From Van

It’s the second fatality of 2015 for Monroe County.

A Tomah teen, who was injured after jumping from the rear door of a van in the Town of Wilton two weeks ago, has now died. Sheriff Scott Perkins says 16 year old Rebecca Wolf jumped while the van was eastbound on County Highway A just west of Highway 131. She was med flighted to a Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse, where she died on Wednesday.

Perkins says the driver, 48 year old Katherine Wolf of Tomah, gave first aid immediately after the incident.
