Shilling Billings Listening Session Tonight

Representative Jill Billings and Senator Jennifer Shilling will be holding a community listening session to discuss Governor Walker’s proposed changes to aging and long term care programs in the state budget tonight.

Billings says the many cuts and changes in the Republican budget have left people concerned on the impact it will have on their families and their pocketbook. Shilling says the changes proposed in the budget are not only unnecessary, but could potentially be very harmful to families who rely on long term care services.

The listening session will be held from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the La Crosse County Health & Human Services Building, Basement Auditorium.
