Holmen Man Charged With Child Porn Makes Bail

A La Crosse judge chose not to reduce bail for a child porn suspect yesterday, but the defendant still bonded out of jail later in the day.  Court records show that the 20-thousand dollar cash bond for Corey Hershey of Holmen was posted on Wednesday.  Hershey pleads ‘not guilty’ to charges of collecting hundreds of thousands of pornographic images…many showing young girls.  His attorney had asked for a lower cash bond, so Hershey could return to his job at Dairyland Power, which involves monitoring the power grid.
