Why Bike Here?
The continued growth of the La Crosse area’s bicycle culture is being seem
almost all year now. Earlier this year, the Wisconsin Off Road Series made the Hixon Forest Epic mountain bike race an official part of the 2015 series. In January of this year, the LACVB and Wyatt Bikes teamed up to launch bicycle lacrosse com, which promotes road riding in the Driftless Region.
Dave Clements with the area convention and visitors bureau says it all starts with old farming paths that make great biking trails.
And Clements feel this region will continue to grow with biking and hiking events. And with that comes an increase in tourism dollars spent here.
