UW-L Going To World Series For First Time Ever

U-W La Crosse will be the only Wisconsin team among eight at the NCAA Division-3 baseball World Series which starts on Friday near Appleton. The Eagles won the Midwest Regional on their home field yesterday, beating Coe College twice in the championship round, 5-4 and 15-4.  La Crosse will open the national finals against Salisbury on Friday night at Fox Cities Stadium.
