30 Day Changes To Tomah VA

They’re giving themselves a month to make major changes.  The Tomah VA Medical Center has started the clock on its 30-day reform plan, prompted by a government investigation.  The list of goals released yesterday is aimed at improving service to vets and increasing contact between hospital employees and management.  And hospital spokesman Matthew Gowan says the staff will be graded on how well the goals are met:

At least one relative of a Tomah patient who died in a waiting room says those 30-day goals do little to help treatment for veterans.
