YMCA Expansion Begins Today
The nearly 50-year-old YMCA along West Avenue in La Crosse is about to get a facelift, and a new emphasis on community health. Stakeholders in the Y expansion got together on Tuesday to hear about a collaboration with Gundersen Health System, to offer more programs for improving individual health. We asked YMCA executive director Bill Soper what he considers the most urgent need to be answered by the new Healthy Living Center:

The expansion project will also include a new gymnastics center and more gym space at the North Y building in Onalaska.
