Brewers Great Speaks in La Crosse
Former Milwaukee Brewer great, Stormin’ Gorman Thomas threw out the first pitch at Thursday night’s La Crosse Logger opener at Copeland Park. The former AL home run champ, American League All-Star and member of the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame, works for the Brewers in a capacity he tells us, he would never give up.
Thomas, who lives near Milwaukee, said it was honor for the Loggers to call him up to speak to a lunch time crowd and throw out the first pitch. As for Copeland Park, home of the Loggers, Thomas says it’s one of the nicest facilities in the state.
