Salvation Army to Pack Hundreds of Sack Lunches Daily
Starting June 8th, a dozen volunteers a day will make 300 sack lunches for income children in La Crosse. Julie Nelson with the Salvation Army explains that these lunches are needed for area kids.
Volunteers are needed to help pack lunches on Wednesdays and to help deliver meals throughout the summer. Last year, The Salvation Army delivered approximately 14,300 lunches. The last day of the program this year will be August 21st.
