Riverfest Eyes Construction Warily
Not only will the next few months of construction on Second street in La Crosse frustrate workers in that area, but an upcoming festival could be impacted as well.
Nick Bjerke with Riverfest says he’s well updated on what’s going on with the construction that began last week. He says fortunately there’s still a couple of options open for visitors to get to the park during the fest but the road work, he says, is very concerning.
Riverfest begins on Wednesday July 1st and goes through Saturday July 4th at Riverside Park.
