Tomah Standoff Ends With Surrender

Police in Tomah have seized several firearms from the house of a man who was arrested after a standoff early today.  The Combined Tactical Unit of Monroe County responded to Alan Pisarek’s house after getting information that Pisarek was drunk and armed.  He’s a convicted felon.  Pisarek gave himself up after speaking on the phone with negotiators, and was taken to jail to face possible charges.  The arrest happened in the 14-hundred block of Butts Avenue in Tomah.
