New City Planner Like Lebron James

How good is the pick of Jason Gilman to head La Crosse’s planning office? At Tuesday’s special city council meetings to confirm Gilman, mayor Tim Kabat talked about an email he got about the former longtime Onalaska city planner.  The email made reference to a well-known NBA star, saying the hire was like Lebron James coming home to Cleveland. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The city council confirmed Gilman unanimously. He’ll be the first permanent planner in city hall since Larry Kirch left for another job last August.
