Top Secret Road Meeting Today
La Crosse’s business community has a meeting today to talk about transportation needs. The city Chamber of Commerce is hosting a breakfast meeting, where business leaders will discuss what transportation changes would benefit them. The meeting has led to controversy, because it’s closed to the general public…and to the media. Chamber director Vicki Markussen says some of the business representatives expected to attend would be uncomfortable speaking openly at the meeting, if reporters were in the room.
