Businesses Skeptical City Hall Cares About Their Needs

Does City Hall care about what businesses think?  One downtown La Crosse business representative wants the city parking board to ask ramp users for their opinions before making major policy changes.  Mark Hyde from US Bank is concerned that the board is not talking with the companies that lease portions of the ramp to find out what they want.  Hyde told board members about one company which said that having spaces reserved by name in the Main Street ramp was so important, they would not have put offices downtown if they couldn’t get those spaces.
