Potentially more guns in schools in Wisconsin now. Governor Walker on Wednesday signs a bill that allows off-duty, retired, and out-of-state police to carry guns in schools. Sponsor republican state senator Van Wanggard says this is a law to cheer about because it will only lead to more safety in schools. Wanggard also sponsored the other gun bill that Walker signed on Wednesday; the one that gets rid of the state’s decades-old 48 hour waiting period for handgun purchases.
