Obama Visit to Focus on Overtime

He’s coming to talk about the economy and jobs. President Obama’s speech this week at UW La Crosse will focus on economic expansion and helping the middle class; specifically about expanding overtime rules for millions more in America, according to Congressman Ron Kind. Democrat Kind says Obama would admit that although progress has been made on the economy, more work needs to be done. Kind has been given some of the credit for helping pass Obama’s Pacific trade bill which has been opposed by most Democrats in Congress.

 

 

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
